Open Voices is overwhelmed by the interest in the greater Kingston area to participate in the community choir experience. We love it - but we can’t single-handedly meet the need out there. In short, we can’t absorb all the singers who would like to sing with us.
We encourage all of you to keep on singing in any and every way you can. Muzzle your personal censor and let her rip – in your car, shower, with your kids, a church choir, an auditioned choir, start your own singing group, join one of the several other choirs in Kingston – keep on singing. Any voice uplifted in positive song is singing in spirit with Open Voices.
We regret that we do not have any openings for new singers at this time.

as our new season starts up - late Aug – early Sept. We will
put out a call for the needed voices to ensure musical balance
at that time. Selection is by lottery when the number of applicants
exceeds the number of openings. Open Voices is a non-auditioned
choir with no other entrance requirements except a joy of singing,
willingness to grow as a musician, and availability to attend practice.
We warmly invite you to attend our concerts, and our "Open Sing" events, which are audience participation, 4 parts choral singing experiences open to the public. These are held at regular intervals. Again, watch our website for details.
