Prayer for the New Year - 2006

Creator, Infinite Spirit,
Mother / Father Divine

Creative Essence of our Past, Our Present Moment,
and our Tomorrows

We give thanks for the years behind us and those ahead.

Thank you that we learn to laugh by laughing
and to love by loving.

Thank you that we remember that you simply
loved this world into being
and that we learn to create each moment in the same way.

Thank you that we hear your inspirations and
the whispers of your angels, as you gently
guide us to make wise, loving, and peaceful choices.

Thank you that we are gentle with our children
and with each other.

Thank you that we experience prosperity through
sharing and generosity.

Thank you that the world replaces
competition with co-operation.

Thank you that our energy and attention always focuses
on that which we wish to create and not what we fear.

Thank you that the world experiences peace
in this new year as we each choose to be peaceful.

In the light of the creator, we see only love.

And so it is.
